Tooli Peer:
Tooli peer is situated in
district Poonch, Tehsil Rawalakot. It is the top mountain peak Tehsil famous as
name of person who are three brothers having their tomb on different mountain
peaks like, Peer chanasi and Peer panjal they were three brothers in Kashmir
the name of mountain peaks are on the name of three brothers. The highest peak
of Toli peer is 8800 meters from the sea it is batter to visit Toli peer in
summer because it receives heavy snow fall in winter cause blockage of the
road. The local population is not that much as the area is vast.
The Tooli peer is about 50
minutes far from the main city Rawalakot in car while a truck or heavy engine
took more time due to contentious height of road. The road leading towards
Tooli peer is single from Banjosa Lake and difficult for inexperienced driver.
I have experienced that the driver should be expert on this road last year we
arrange a tour to Toli Peer we manage three buses full of boys one of our bus
driver is not experienced we use to sit on roof near Tooli peer there is a
height where road goes up almost with the 70 angle our bus reverse back due to
height all boys quickly left their seats and start walking including me. After
some stay when we ready for back driver said that he can't drive now due to lose
breaks so we called a mechanic from Rawalpindi to set bus breaks and check all
parts are working ok or not so we have to stay for one night without camp
although we have shelter in shape of bus first we collect piece of woods for
fire. After evening we call a meeting of senior boys on which we made three committees
one for guarding us, 2nd for making place for toilet, and third for dinner and
fire. First we made temporary toilet and then heat up our dinner after taking
dinner we plan a campfire although we don't have any camp but our bus is
playing role as camp. Thanks GOD next morning a mechenic came and set the
breaks.
On the way of Toli peer before
Rawalakot there is gulch of pure water, we took stay at hotel for breakfast the
hotel honor said that they need at least one hour to ready breakfast so, we
went down for swimming the water was very clean and greenish and there are big
stones we use to jump in water from those stones in water after that we get
back for the breakfast and finally get back to our home safely.
